Tommy Perdue
Coach Tommy Perdue was inducted into the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame on June 3, 2023. He coached for 31 years in Georgia, 19 years as the Head Football Coach at Robert E. Lee Institute/Upson-Lee High School. His coaching record was 169-57-1, winning the 1988 state championship. He was state runner-up in 1987 and his teams won 7 region championships. He was the Macon Telegraph Coach of the Year in 1987-88 and in 1988 was named Coach of the Year by The Atlanta-Journal Constitution. Coach Perdue was inducted into the Thomaston-Upson County Hall of Fame in 2005, and it is with great pride to welcome coach perdue into the GACA Hall of Fame.
