Message from the Executive Director
The Georgia Athletic Coaches Association (GACA) Hall of Fame is important to high school coaches in Georgia because it recognizes and honors the dedication, leadership, and contributions of outstanding coaches who have positively impacted student-athletes and their communities across the state. Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is a prestigious acknowledgment of a coach’s achievements and influence in high school sports. The GACA Hall of Fame would not be possible without the Former GACA Executive Director- Ray Broadaway whose vision and foresight brought this idea to life in 2001 with the cooperation of the City of Dalton and support of High School Coaches around the state. The GACA Hall of Fame opened its doors with the inaugural induction class in 2001 and has since recognized 132 Coaches in their respective sport to include the class of 2025. The Hall of Fame also fosters camaraderie, professionalism, and a sense of legacy among Georgia's coaching community, inspiring current and future coaches to uphold high standards of excellence and Integrity.
