Anzy Hardman
Coach Anzy Hardman was inducted into the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame on May 31, 2025. A graduate of Harris County High School and Albany State University, he coached boys’ basketball at Woodbury High School, Manchester High School, and Taylor County High School for 44 years. His coaching record was 875-316, winning 6 state championships, 3 state runner-up, and 8 region championships. At Woodbury High School he won state championships in 1981, 1983, 1984, 1985. From 1983-85 his teams won 63 straight games, and the 1984 team was 30-0. At Taylor County High School, he won state championships in 2001 and 2002. He was named Coach of the Year 8 times, and he received the Mayor Award from the cities of Woodbury, Georgia and Butler, Georgia. The Georgia Athletic Coaches Association is proud to have Coach Hardman as a member of the Hall of Fame.
