David Boyd

Coach David Boyd was inducted into the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame on June 3, 2023. He coached for 36 years, 30 years as a head basketball coach compiling a record of 623-205. He won 6 state championships, one at Campbell High, one at Tucker High, 2 at Berkmar High, and 2 at Milton High. He had 4 state runner-up teams and 14 region championships. He was the Atlanta Tip Off Club Metro Coach of the Year 6 times, North Georgia Coach of the Year 3 times, and state coach of the year 4 times. He was selected Cobb County and Fulton County Coach of the Year 4 times, Gwinnett County Coach of the Year 3 times, and One time Coach of the Year in Dekalb County. It is with great pride that Coach David Boyd becomes a member of the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
