Jim Glasser

Coach Jim Glasser was inducted into the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame on June 3, 2023. He coached 36 years at The Lovett School in Atlanta, Georgia. As head wrestling coach, his record was 751-48-2, setting a national career winning percentage of .9399. His teams won 13 state championships and finished 2nd or 3rd at the state meets 26 times. He had 16 undefeated dual match seasons, including 8 in a row from 1977-1985, with 91 straight wins. He also coached Lovett to state championships in girls track and field in 1983 and in boys tennis 1988-1992. As one of the most outstanding coaches in the state, his induction into the GACA Hall of Fame is very deserving.
